How to use it?

Materials needed:

  • Beautilux Gel Polish Kit
  • Base coat
  • Top coat
  • UV or LED lamp
  • Nail buffer block or file
  • Cleaner (nail cleaner) or isopropyl alcohol
  • Nail polish remover (acetone) and aluminum foil for removal (optional)

Steps of use:

1. Nail preparation :

  • Clean your nails : Make sure your nails are clean, dry and free of any polish residue. Use nail polish remover to remove any previous polish.
  • File your nails : Shape your nails into the desired shape with a nail file. Lightly buff the nail surface with a buffer block to remove the natural shine, this will help the gel adhere better.
  • Push back cuticles : Use a cuticle pusher to gently push back cuticles and prepare the nail surface.

2. Application of the base coat :

  • Apply a thin layer of base coat to your nails. Make sure to cover the entire surface of the nail, but without touching the skin or cuticles.
  • Cure under the lamp : Place your nails under a UV lamp for 2 minutes or under an LED lamp for 30 to 60 seconds to cure the base.

3. Application of Beautilux gel polish :

  • Choose one of the colours from your Beautilux kit and apply a first thin layer of gel polish on each nail. The less you put on, the better the polish will adhere and dry evenly.
  • Cure under lamp : Dry under UV lamp for 2 minutes or under LED lamp for 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Apply a second coat (if necessary) to achieve better color intensity, then cure again under the lamp.

4. Application of the top coat :

  • Apply a thin layer of top coat to seal the polish and add shine.
  • Cure under lamp : Dry under UV lamp for 2 minutes or under LED lamp for 30 to 60 seconds.

5. Final cleaning :

  • If the top coat leaves a sticky layer (residue), gently clean it with a cotton pad soaked in cleaner or isopropyl alcohol to reveal a shiny, flawless finish.

Removing the varnish:

  1. File the gel surface : Use a file to remove the shiny layer of the top coat.
  2. Soak : Soak cotton pads in acetone nail polish remover, place them on your nails, then wrap your fingers in aluminum foil. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Removing the gel : Once the gel lifts, gently remove it with a wooden stick or cuticle pusher. Do not force it to avoid damaging your natural nails.

Additional tips:

  • Apply thin coats to avoid bubbles and ensure complete drying under the lamp.
  • Don't forget to moisturize your cuticles after each manicure with cuticle oil.
